zgoubi is a ray-tracing code in use for charged particle beam dynamics simulations. It can simulate hadron and lepton beam and polarization dynamics in a large variety of cyclic accelerators (storage ring, synchrotron, cyclotron, FFAG, etc.) and optical systems (magnetic and electrostatic optical components and beam lines, spectrometers, ...).
Features
- An "exemple" folder contains oodles of up and running input data files, amongst which: LHC optics; polarization with snakes at RHIC; FFAG designs including KUNST rings, serpentine acceleration in EMMA, CBETA RLA; electron polarization in EIC RCS and storage ring, Cornell RCS; CEBAF RLA; PSI cyclotron; muon decay rings; and in addition, tutorials.
